The owner of this company, Leonel Campas, told me this in May 2018: “I don’t care how long it takes to finish your house; and I don’t give a sh*t about your neighbors.”
I hired this company to do a 95% remodel around November 2016. This company has been condescending, and disrespectful. And consistently fabricated bogus costs (that change every time we talked). They failed to contact subcontractors at all. They have failed to relay important information to subcontractors and have arbitrarily decided on changes when what they promised me was inconvenient (without telling me).
Work was often done out of order from best practices.
Leonel has threatened to stop working several times. Work is constantly left unfinished. Many promises were made about dates when work would resume or be completed; always leading us on. He doesn’t answer his phone, email or return calls. In retrospect- it was obvious he never intended to complete the job; just get as much money as he could for the least work.
This company never did finish my family’s home. he simply walked away after asking for, and accepting way too much money; so he could “push through to the next phase”. He is a thief, a habitual liar and misleading to say the least.
I don’t know how he can sleep at night after the way he has handled a job like this.
